Very exciting news! The nonprofit organization formerly known as "Covington Partners" has the new name of "Partners for Change," and its scope of work is expanding beyond Covington Independent Public Schools. Partners for Change plans to offer its programs and services -- which include mentoring, out-of-school time, and family engagement activities -- to other school districts in Northern Kentucky. In fact, the organization already expanded its programming during the past school year to students in Newport Independent School District, Ludlow Independent Schools, and Erlanger-Elsmere Independent School District.听 听

Congratulations and kudos for these big and meaningful changes to Stacie Strotman (MPA 2015), Executive Director of Partners for Change, as well as the organization's board of directors! Congrats and kudos to James Mills (MPA 2023) for completing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy! He has worked in the City of Taylor Mill Police Department for 15 years, including serving as Chief of Police for the past two years. Prior to Taylor Mill, he served as a police officer on 无码强奸's campus.

Chief Mills finished his MPA degree in December 2023, so it's impressive that he turned around and jumped into the FBI academy, which is known as one of the best law enforcement training programs in the world. The 10-week program takes place in Quantico, VA, and it involves "advanced investigative, management, and fitness training to senior officers who are proven leaders within their organizations."

"What I love most about my job is what I can learn from families. As much as they're learning from me, I'm learning from them as well ... and then helping them." 听
