Start small and go BIG.

The Theatre & Dance Program supports the broader ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é vision by being a preeminent metropolitan center for excellence in both theatre arts curriculum and production.

As the largest theatre and dance program in the state of Kentucky, we pride ourselves in the up close and personal mentorship found in smaller programs. As an integral part of a liberal arts university, we are learner-centered, helping students to become successful artists within an increasingly global society.

Our program seeks to create artists who have a strong foundation in theatre and dance skills while also allowing them to explore and specialize in areas of their interest and passion. We focus upon artistic process, which serves as a necessary pathway to product and thus emphasizes the full integration of educational values and artistic creativity.

Our students become professionals in their art and use art in their professions.
