The Center for Public History supports the civic engagement and community outreach activities of the faculty and students of the ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é History & Geography Department.

We've worked with cities, museums and even a national park to gather historical information, preserve artifacts and create exhibits for the public to enjoy. To get more information about these exciting and worthwhile projects, use the links to the left.

Through the center, students learn about internship opportunities with community partners and work on projects that provide an exciting glimpse into the "real" work at museums and cultural heritage organizations, such as local historical societies, archives, and libraries.

Students who work on public history sponsored projects are acknowledged contributors and are encouraged to include project products in their employment portfolios.
