Welcome to the CSTATE2��ǿ�� Transfer Site

CState2��ǿ�� is a dual-admissions partnership between Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and ��ǿ��. This site is provided for transfer assistance for students working toward the completion of an associate degree planning to transfer from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to ��ǿ��. The information provided on this website does not take the place of an advisor or counselor on your campus.

Students enrolled in this program are eligible to take up to four courses of pre-major and major coursework at ��ǿ�� while pursuing an associate degree at CSTCC. CState2��ǿ�� students pay the CSTCC tuition rate to ��ǿ�� for the allotted four ��ǿ�� courses. Students taking classes at ��ǿ�� through the program will also pay part-time student fees per credit hour. Some courses may also incur specific charges from the respective college. Students pay for their CSTCC and ��ǿ�� bills separately.

The four courses must be spread out over the span of several semesters. The number of courses a student is able to take at ��ǿ�� in a given semester is based on earned and in-progress hours. Students with 15 earned and in-progress hours are eligible to take their first course at ��ǿ��. Once students have at least 30 earned and in-progress hours, they are eligible to take a second course at ��ǿ��. After 45 earned and in-progress hours, students can take their last two courses. If a student has 45 or more earned and in progress hours but have yet to take any classes at ��ǿ�� through the CState2��ǿ�� program, he or she would be eligible to take two courses in the first semester of the program.

Students must never exceed the maximum of two courses at ��ǿ�� in any given semester through the CState2��ǿ�� program. Students enrolled in the CState2��ǿ�� program are eligible to take courses at ��ǿ�� that are not offered at CSTCC. While enrolled in ��ǿ�� courses through the program, students are not eligible to take courses at ��ǿ�� above and beyond the CState2��ǿ�� program courses.

PATHWAYS TO DEGREE COMPLETION

The pathway guides are advising tools designed to help community college students plan for transferring to ��ǿ�� to complete their baccalaureate degree. The pathway guides also constitute an agreement between community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.

Students in the pathway program who complete an associate degree may be granted the Reciprocity Tuition Rate upon transfer to ��ǿ�� (Note: Some programs excluded; applies to residents of Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren Counties)

Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA at Cincinnati State
Must have at least 15 earned and in-progress credit hours to be eligible to take your first course at ��ǿ�� through the CState2��ǿ�� program

How to Apply to the Pathway Program

The CState2��ǿ�� Program has a simple application. Please read the instructions on applying first. If you are not yet enrolled at Cincinnati State, apply for admission to CSTCC and enroll in an Associate degree plan.

Once you are admitted to Cincinnati State, just fill out the . Note: You will need to maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA throughout the program.

Ready to Transfer?

When the time comes for you to transfer to ��ǿ�� from Cincinnati State, there are a few steps that need to be completed. Please use this checklist to ensure all steps are completed in order to facilitate a smooth transfer.

Make sure ��ǿ�� is on your FAFSA if you receive Financial Aid. The ��ǿ�� school code is 009275. Do this as early as possible!

Once admitted, the following items should be taken care of, if applicable:

If you are currently in TRiO-Student Support Services at Cincinnati State, apply now to join for the upcoming term.
