November 15, 2023 - It’s turkey time at ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é! ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é’s on-campus food pantry, FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é, will host the sixth annual Friendsgiving Celebration on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023. ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é students, faculty and staff will indulge in a traditional Thanksgiving meal provided by FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é, Kroger, La Soupe and ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é Dining.
There is no cost to attend the event, but attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item to donate to FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é.
FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é has provided food and other essential items to students in a compassionate, confidential and safe environment for the last 10 years. These services are available even when the university is closed for holidays. The FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é team hopes to provide a nourishing meal and a supportive environment for the campus community, especially with the holiday season approaching, according to program coordinator Nick Bliven.
Media note: We’ll feed you too! Want to go live and talk all things turkey and FUEL ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é? We’d love to have you!
