  • Co-curricular Opportunities: We have many opportunities for our students to engage with faculty and fellow students. They will learn research skills by working collaboratively with our faculty and with each other in research teams. They can also join different engineering organizations such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and Kentucky academy of science (KAS).
  • Co-op and Internships: There are numerous co-op and internship opportunities in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Our Engineering Technology programs are supported by local industry such as Bosch, GE, Duke Energy, Siemens, Toyota, etc. who provide most of our students with co-op and internship opportunities. These typically lead to an offer of full-time employment.
  • Career Explorations: Our innovative, interdisciplinary courses provide students with knowledge and skills necessary to enter careers in design, application, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechatronics and robotics systems. Graduates gain skills to use a combination of mechanical, electrical, and computer skills to work with smart technologies such as robots, intelligent mechatronic systems, human-machine interfaces, automated systems, and computer-integrated manufacturing equipment.
