Casey King comes to ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é from Vanceburg, Kentucky as a nursing pre-major. In high school she was involved in many extra-curricular activities including BETA, Future Business Leaders of America, and as treasurer of the Student Government. Casey spent much of her time in the school’s theatre department, where she was both a stage manager and assistant director for her senior year productions. In addition, Casey was involved in Talent Search, 4-H events such as APES competitions and Teen Leadership, and Sources of Strength.
When not involved in school activities Casey worked part time at a local grocery store. She has been working there throughout the pandemic and has learned a lot about the impact of the pandemic on her local community. She is appreciative of the opportunity afforded her via the Michael Francis Zalla Scholars program and is excited to take classes at ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é and to live on campus.
