Parent orientation occurs during Orientation, as a separate concurrent program designed specifically for parents of new students. This program consists of special presentations designed to help family members assist with their student's transition to college in becoming familiar with ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é and its many resources.

Attendance for parents is optional but highly encouraged. Throughout the day, you will receive all program materials, meals, program facilitation, and an ÎÞÂëÇ¿¼é tote.

The program will include opportunities to meet with students, faculty, staff and administrators to discuss issues such as:

  • academic performance
  • campus safety
  • money management
  • student life
  • available support services
  • roommate and housing issues
  • homesickness
  • expected student behavior
  • and much more!
